Lose the Baby Weight NOW: A Food Diary

7-12-10

Weighted myself yesterday- 127. Which is freakin amazing because I have been eating like pure shit lately. Just no other word for it. which my husband was kind enough to also point out to me. (Thanks, hon.)

According to those in my office, I know about all the great food places. This is where I think working for the local food magazine gives me a serious disadvantage. How can I eat “right” when I know of too many good places to go? I think this is why I lost weight when I lived in Athens and Statesboro- I didn’t know the good places to go! Oh well.

I have an idea, to team up with the vegan writer for the magazine and go on a journey together for like a week- to tyr vegan foods with her and let her write about it. See if she can tame the wild, red meat eating cake devouring beast (ie: me). I think I’ll email her today….

Yesterday- 7/7/10 and today so far

Yesterday- took Meghan to lunch at Let's Do Lunch. AMAZING! Got the turkey sandwich with the chipolte mayonnaise. And the roasted red bell pepper soup. I almost didn't get the soup but they offered me a taste and it was much better than I expected.

Calorie count? I don't know. Don't want to know.

As for the rest of the day- breakfast- had some cheerios, a coffee, some fruit.

Today so far:

a sugar free Red Bull. Calories: 10, versus the regular Red Bull which has 110. Wow.

Tonight 6-27-10

Ok.... almost gave in to the blizzard temptation. William mentioned going and getting one and luckily saved me with the reminder that its SO not good for you.

Made chocolate Jello pudding. Sugar free fat free

Need Help NOW

I'm craving a Mint Oreo Blizzard from Dairy Queen! Help stop me!

Today:

2 small bowls of Wheaties with 1% milk
1 100 calorie pack of cheese
2 taco bell taquitos :(- lesson, don't leave the house without a snack, if you haven't had lunch!
1 small pepsi
2 large glasses of water! yay!

Today 6-26-10

So.... I've slipped keeping record.

Today- Starbucks Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte 180 calories, 6 grams of fat, 18 carbs, 12 protein

Lunch @ Harpin's
3 cheese quiche apx 472 calories (from website fitday.com) , side salad, 1/3rd of lemon cake :(

Dinner: half of a sub sandwich with turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. Coke to drink :(

10:37 pm and i am dieing for a kit kat :( none in house thank God.

Dinner

Resisted the urge to eat the fabulous food at the fundraiser for Austin Scott

Dinner, had a handful of baby carrots, raspeberries, corn, and peas. And water.

Lunch Today

Harpin's:

1/2 of a slice of 3 cheese quiche (giving the rest to Mom)
3/4 slice of chocolate cake :(
1 sweet tea
two spoonfulls of potato soup (giving the rest to Mom)

I have no idea how many calories.... probably too much.

Goal: start the day off right tomorrow! No Starbucks! Just hot tea. yeah right!
